Management issues are fundamental to any organization: How do we plan to get things done, organize the company to be efficient and effective, lead and motivate employees, and put controls in place to make sure our plans are followed and our goals are met? Good management is essential to starting a business, growing a business, and maintaining a business once it has achieved some measure of success.

Early education classrooms are becoming increasingly diverse and caregivers must be prepared to meet the unique needs of all children in their care. Our Early Childhood Development course provides a broad overview of development in children across the world. We identify elements of typical and atypical development, as well as physical, social, emotional, linguistic, and intellectual characteristics in children from diverse backgrounds.

This General Biology Lab works in conjunction with introductory Biology concepts by providing a series of real world, hands-on experiments. This course requires students to complete at home experiments, track and document results, and submit lab assessments. This course starts with an introduction into science, developing a hypothesis, and presenting data. Lab safety concepts are covered, as well as proper ways to handle emergencies.

This General Chemical Lab works in conjunction with introductory Chemistry concepts by providing a series of real world, hands-on experiments. This course requires students to complete at home experiments, track and document results, and submit lab assessments. We start by examining how to properly and safely handle chemicals, identify variables, and construct a hypothesis.

Are you interested in identifying, measuring, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating information for the pursuit of an organization’s goals?  Our Managerial Accounting course provides managers the tools needed to make the best decisions to achieve the goals of their organizations. Students will explore the building blocks of managerial accounting, standard costs and variances, budgeting, and performance measures.

As consumers, we each experience what could be marketing case studies every day. We are exposed to thousands of advertising messages. We develop needs, research solutions, evaluate options, make purchases, and experience satisfaction or disappointment. This makes marketing a particularly stimulating subject for teachers and learners since its practical application is visible every day. Old rules of marketing are no longer useful to those who want to influence these new consumer’s choices.
